Orphalese Tarot Zone Community Forum

Hi,

Relatively new to the forum and program. Just wanted to echo the kudos that everyone else has given in that Orphalese blows all other Tarot software out of the water. Wonderful program. One small suggestion for improvement from my perspective.

Including any type of weird midi or music effect would ruin it (I've seen it done in other Tarot programs) but a simple shuffle sound when shuffling the deck would be a great improvement in my opionion. This is the only thing I miss when doing readings with real decks.

Hi, and thanks for the feedback and suggestion. I don't see that it would hurt to include a couple of background sounds (perhaps one for dealing a card as well). There could obviously be a user option to suppress them. I will probably keep this back for a bit longer though, because version 2 of the .NET framework is due out later this year and it would make sense to add the option then - I have a feeling version 2 might handle media files a bit better than the current one.

I also think that background music could potentially ruin things, but a simple shuffling sound would be tasteful. What about the user having the option of importing his/her OWN midi files? Is that possible?
