I tried using some of my own scanned decks with the program. Though they were scanned and appear in the right proportions in photo viewing programs, when the program opens them they are converted to 278x278 size. I tried the 'fix size' button, but it won't let me alter the size at all. Any ideas? Thank you!

The main thing is that the cards have to have the same relative dimensions. The one that is used as the benchmark is the one that is named "0". The only thing I can think of that would cause what you are describing is if you had a card called "0.jpg" (or "0.bmp" etc) which was square.

If I were you I would uncheck the Fix Size option and make sure the rest of the cards all conform to the 0 card. The program always shows cards at equal size on screen, so as long as the proportions all match the 0 card you should be fine (e.g. 300 * 200 or 600 * 400 would both produce a card of the same size on screen). The fix size button fixes the screen resolution in the program, which almost certainly does not match the resolution of the original image.
