Would it be possible to have a toggled overlay with a grid pattern to space out or place cards better on the "table"...

Thanks for the suggestion! Actually I do already have something like that on my list of pending improvements. Unfortunately I am not sure when I am going to be able to do any of them, for the moment at least I am too busy with my day job and other commitments. With a bit of luck I might be able to implement some of the requested changes in the summer if things ease up a bit.
