As a standard thing, I've been recording all my personal readings for a long time.

It struck me today that I wouldn't like my deepest personal thoughts being available to...
Advertizers, the US government secret services, whoever might steal or hack into my computer, my ex! any current flame, etc etc
In this sense it shares a lot with a Diary!

So a simple request for an optional (but if opted for an automatic) encryption of Stored Readings. Preferably with better security than the various "i-products"! (4 digits can be broken in seconds! unless you put in longish time delays between attempts which "Fruit/Case" didn't)

It might be nice if one was looking back through older readings not to have to enter the password for each reading, but only once in a session - if that was possible to be secure?

And definitely a pre-selected Password, and not having to enter the password each time you save a reading!

And while I'm on the topic of Stored Reading a small gripe (which perhaps doesn't merit a separate topic).

I'll always do a "Ling Qi Jing" reading, but often I will do other readings as well. Perhaps a "Babylonian Tarot" or a "Chinese Oracle Poem", a "Celtic Oracle" or an "I Ching Hexagram(s). When I come to save these readings, after the first one the program always removes the automatic entry of my name at the top. Annoying!

Ok various Oracles stress not just repeating readings till you get one that you like......!

However this smacks of the Nanny State!
There must be professionals out there using Orphalese to do Professional Readings. In which case they will have to enter their name each time (or just leave it blank?)
Other people might want to do several readings to get at various "aspects" - perhaps using individual Suits or Decks.

Much though I like Nanny McPhee - please "NO" to the slimey medecine!

Hi Greg, nothing I could do could hope to provide any meaningful encryption, your best bet would be to encrypt the hard drive with bitlocker. I could provide some optional dopey password screen before allowing the user to open any spreads within the program itself. It might be proof against a non-computer savvy person playing around on your computer, but they could still look at the xml in the reading files themselves. Or I could have an option where the program asks for your unlock code every time on startup. Either of these any good?

The name field going missing is obviously a bug. It sounds like it is saved the first time but not subsequently reloaded. I have made a note of it.
