It always annoyed me that I had to log in each time I visited this forum, even though I had ticked the box saying "Log me in automatically on each visit". I always thought it was due to something I had set up in my browser settings and other people probably didn't have the same issue. I have now discovered it was due to the set up of the Forum here all along. I have made some configuration changes and now it works (at least for me)!!

If you have been frustrated by this issue in the past please give it another try, but note that the setting relies on cookies so if you have cookies disabled in your browser settings then it still won't work.

Like you, I always thought it was my browser being uncooperative. So this is pretty cool!
