Eval version?

I've noticed something....

I bought the single license version a while ago. I love the program so much, it's my go-to when I do a tarot reading.

But now, I use my registration stuff, but the "about" in the program says that it's an eval version and the network options won't work. Despite that, the network options actually DO work. I've re-registered it five different times from my current machine, but that never changes.

If this is just how it is, that's fine, but I do sometimes worry that some function isn't on due to this.

Hi, Erin. The way to see if the registration has taken properly should be to go to Register >> Register off the main menu. If you click that you should just get a message pop-up saying "This program is registered to...".

If that is the case you definitely shouldn't be seeing anything saying that it is an evaluation version. Where exactly are you seeing it? If you mean the "About" box that comes up when you click "About..." in the main menu then the text that appears there is not actually generated by the program. It is what whoever edited the current deck wanted to put there (besides the program number and the .NET runtime number of course, but the rest of the text is about the deck not the program). Or are you looking in the Help file? In that case it is probably just badly worded because that just refers to the program before registration. The Help file doesn't get replaced when you unlock the program.

Okay, when I go to "Register" I get the correct registration information.

I thought there was a section in the About dialogue that had Evaluation or Free version on it. But when I go to the General Settings and then to Program (2) there's a part that shows a yellow bar and "Free Version" in it, making me suspect something wrong.

Maybe I'm just losing my mind...

Aha, I am with you. It is that option to hide the network features if you are using the program without registering and get tired of seeing things you don't have full access too. It stays visible after the program is registered and really it would make sense if it became hidden. It is not relevant to a registered user because they have full access to everything. Thanks for pointing that out.
