Is this the Tarot Game that I keep running across in French? (Not speaking French, I never learned to play.
Any help would be appreciated...........

Check out http://tarothermit.com/, a fabulous Tarot History site by Tom Tadfor Little which describes all kinds of antique decks. If you scroll down the home page you'll also find a set of links concerning the game (jeu), with some rather nice thoughts on some of the underlying symblic content. After all, for the first several centuries of its existence, tarot was primarily used for games rather than divination.
