Hi there, I'm new, thanks for the wonderful program etc., hehe.

I have 2 issues though.

First one: I looked carefully through the options but couldn't find if there is an option to suppress the pop-up notes if cards are face down. Is this possible? It's kind of a "spoiler" to find out which card it is when you first put your mouse over it (on a spread) before you click to turn it over, and even worse when you are dealing cards with no spread and dragging them around face down but not turning them over yet.

Second issue: I can download decks from the p2p thing but I'm not sure if I'm sharing them with anyone else- I've added decks to share but the "do test" button reports that the connection has failed. Is there a port I need to forward or allow through the firewall?

Thanks in advance for any answer you can give me on either or both of these matters.

Myself, I don't typically have the cards face-down for very long, so I'd never noticed that before, but you're right. It's kind of a giveaway.

As a workaround, you can turn the notes off by clicking the F8 key and selecting off (or on). You'll need to do it again to view the notes for face-up. So this isn't so helpful for jumping back and forth, but good if you're doing just one or the other for an extended period.

I was equally surprised to see there wasn't an option there to not show pop-ups when the cards are face down. I programmed most of the basic options so long ago that I had forgotten what is in there and what isn't.

In fact I wonder if this shouldn't be the default behaviour - why would you really want to see the notes when the card is face down?

I have been meaning to get around to compiling a new release of the program for some time, to include all the updates to the various language versions, so I will make sure it includes this modification.

Just to say I have uploaded the new version which by default DOESN'T show pop-ups when the card is face down. It is version 8.9 available for download on the main website. For backwards compatibility you can reactivate the showing of pop-up notes even when the cards are face down with a new option on the options form.

Regarding the issue of sharing decks, I have also fixed a major bug in the previous version which was affecting this, so if you were still having trouble sharing decks then this upgrade will also help you with that.
