Hi All,

Just putting in my nomination(s) for the 2005 Friendship awards:

Dominatrix in the category of Artist Extrodinaire.....
Gisela in the category of OOPs Lady (The person most likely to cover your back by pointing out how to make things better.....
Aurora in the category of Artistic Muse (The person most likely to inspire us to new projects/ideas, when she's not spoiling her grandson)......
Cowhead in the category of old/classic deck collector of the year (who also finds time to get others hooked on the same hobby).........
Christine in the category of Inspiration/conspirator of the year (who got me started with a simple question: What kind of spreads/layouts do you do?).....
And lastly, Richard (Our Ring Leader) in the category of Programmer/OTZ Guru of the year (without which we wouldn't have this program or site to play at!).................

And all others, (many of whom I don't know yet!) who make up our little Tarot/Divination community!............

Thanks for having me here!,

Marvin

We can add to the list, Marvin the Rock Man - or is it the Rune Man. Thanks for openning up a whole new vista to me!

Many, many Blessings to all,

Christine

I'll second Christine's nomination of Marvin. Not only has he been a great source of information on numerous topics, including runes, but he has done so much to create and build a feeling of friendship and community here.

I was thinking it would be really nice if we could just get together at a bar or restaurant some night and just chat face to face, but it would be slightly inconvenient. I guess Valencia or Barcelona would be the logical place, as Richard and Dominatrix live relatively close, but I seem to have misplaced my tickets to Spain. :-)

However, when I stop to actually think about it for a second, it still stuns me that people all over the planet can find each other, and socialize, and share information and art. The internet is a wonderful thing, and you all make it so much more interesting and useful to me. So, thanks to you all.

Hi Guy,

It's a shame about that big island sinking in the middle of the atlantic.........
We could all get day visas and sit in the shadow of the volcano trading readings...........
(Oh well, in a few thousand years it may come back and the land we're on may be under water!)

And Christine, I'm sorry I wrote Gisela's name down when I was responding to you.............. :?}

Is this when I start the joke about the Tarot reader who dies with the most decks wins?

Take Care,

Marvin

It goes without saying that if anyone does make it over to Spain then you must get in touch...the beer is very cool at this time of year!

Not to mention proverbial Spanish hospitality...

Hello All,

What's the attitude toward smoking in Spain? I enjoy a cigar with my mild brown ale!

If there's tequilla, tortilla chips and salsa . . . then I'll swim to Spain! Of course, this time of year the Rio Grande is a little shallow . . . .-)
