Shuffling/Spreading

Hello there,

I just found Orphalese and I really like it. :-) Nevertheless I got some questions left, which someone may be able to answer hopefully. I searched the older threads already but nothing seemed to fit really.

1) Is it possible to extent the shuffling time to a previously set limit, e.g. 15 seconds maximum?

2) Is it posible to stop the shuffle process manually before maximum time, by clicking on the cards or something?

3) I usually use the Celtic Cross as standard spread. Is it possible to set it as a standard for the programme, too? Can Orphalese also spraed the cards after shuffling automatically, without having to set every single action by click?

Hope, that you get the point of my questions. If anythings unclear, please feel free to ask.
I thank you for your help in advance and really appreciate it.

Greetings from Germany,
On4wheels

Hi There,

Thanks for your suggestions, I am afraid that at the moment the short answer is No, No and No :$

That said, I think they are good ideas. I like the idea of having an option which makes the shuffling carry on until the user clicks to stop it, because it would make the user a more vital part of the operation.

Re the other points, I think the approach that would fit best with the program would be to have an option to always shuffle before dealing a spread. In this way you would only need to activate two options to achieve what you want:

Shuffle until I say stop: on.
Shuffle before dealing a spread: on.

Result: you choose the Celtic Cross (you can set up a short cut key combination for this aswell) and then the decks starts shuffling. When you click it deals out the spread.

Having said this, I don't know when I will have time to program it. Recently I have not been able to make much time for the program, but I like the idea so I have added it to my list!

Cheers,
Richard
