Shutting Windows

Hi Richard,
I recently noticed a small bug to swat, viz., I can't Log Off or Shut Down my XP computer if OT is running.
I usually run OT while also doing other things, just leaving the pack sit in the corner with no background showing. It works fine and doesn't usually cost much RAM, so sometimes I forget it's on. At the end of the day, I tell Windows to Shut Down, and if OT isn't running, everything closes down like it's supposed to. If OT is running, some programs shut down, like the MS Office toolbar, but the command to Shut Down or Log Off itself is simply ignored. So I have to specifically shut OT down, and re-issue the Windows Shut Down or Log Off command, which then works fine.
This annoys my partner, who will sometimes see my temporarily abandoned desktop and conclude he’s got a shot at logging on. (On second thought, this may not be a bug, but a feature! Just kidding…) He doesn’t notice the little OT pack or the tiny star in the taskbar, but he gets ticked off that the machine’s not cooperating with him, which then becomes my fault. Naturally, the joke wears thin after a while.
It’s almost like OT thinks it’s a little kid who doesn’t want to go to bed when told to do so (there’s so much more playing to do!), and needs individual attention to get there. Could you make OT behave like a good little Windows program?
Thanx, and hugs
Gisela
