I don't know if this is a bug or just a misuse of the program. Either way, it isn't urgent, IMO.

I was doing some work in Windows Explorer, and moved to my Readings folder.Saw a readings file that I decided to read. The file had a little Orphalese icon, so I tried double-clicking it, hoping it would open OT and load the reading. Instead, it started a program installation routine. I was able to exit with no apparent reinstallation, or any harm done.

So, if the intention was that opening a reading file would launch OT, it didn't work on my machine.

It is a Windows Installer thing. The file association is there for a .reading program, so when you click on one it should launch the program and lay out the spread. Almost certainly the installation routine started up because Windows detected that some of the files originally installed with the program were missing. Unfortunately this happens when the user has moved either the Traditional or Imperatrix decks that are part of the installation. I haven't yet figured out a way to let the Windows Installer know that these are non-critical files that are not needed for the program to run.

Thanks for the explanation! Yep, I've moved those files. (I've got so many packs now, it would be impossible to find anything if they weren't organized into sub-folders...) This file-association question is really no problem, as far as I'm concerned. If a solution walks up and introduces itself, that's cool, but I sure wouldn't ask you to spend more time on it.
