Has anyone else had problems with cards being dealt with reversals despite having all the settings for both the individual decks and the general settings for all decks to not include reversals? Could this be a bug or maybe I'm missing another setting somewhere? Maybe the cards are simply insisting I learn to read them upside down?!! LOL

Hi LiliPixi, could you share what decks this is happening with so I can see if I experience the same? I'm also wondering if maybe it's happening because of switching between allowing them and not allowing them.

You might want to try setting it to no reversals.
Shift-Ctrl-A to sort them all
then F4 and look and see what cards are still reversed

You then might want to check to see the actual card image for that card isn't itself reversed. I have had images flipped, so a reversal is actually "normal" or upright.

Ok, I just checked this with a deck, and I did have to sort them all to remove the reversals. Once I did that, they were all upright.

Hi Shari - just finished cleaning up after dinner and have been working diligently with the info you provided. I've also shut down my Orphalese and restarted it just to make sure it wasn't something like that looming in the darkness. The two decks I'm noticing it with right now are my Gilded Tarot and Psycards. However, it appears after following your instructions, my Psycards are cooperating. My Gilded on the other hand is still being stubborn and they continue to show me reversals when I actually use a spread rather than just draw individual cards. Do you suppose it could be a "spread" setting and not a "deck" setting? However, if I use the same "celtic cross" with both the Gilded and Psycards, only the Gilded comes out with reversals now....weird. The Gilded Tarot was my first official tarot (not oracle) deck and one that I still continue to love the most...maybe they're "messin'" with me!

I'll keep trying your suggestions on some other decks and see what others I can come up with that refuse to cooperate...lol

I did find this in the wiki:
If you want to ensure that all the cards are upright, you should do an ascending or descending sort.

I would edit the options reverse 50%, shuffle, edit the option, uncheck reversals (if your default is 0%) or set to 0%
shuffle, sort, shuffle and then check the cards. You can F4 (Menu>Free Selection) to browse through the cards so you can see if any are reversed.

Ctrl-S (Menu>Shuffle)
Shift-Ctrl-A (Menu>Sort>Sort Ascending)
Ctrl-S (Menu>Shuffle)

Also, Is it always the same card that is showing as reversed?

No, it was definitely not always the same card. I followed your advice to edit the options on and off and on again and Yay - that seems to have worked! I set my default setting for all decks to "percent of reversals - 0%" and left the checkmark on. Even my Gilded seems to be cooperating now. However, if I uncheck that default setting, then they seem to have a mind of their own and go back to having reversals even though the individual deck settings say not to.
