Version 8.7 Released

I have just uploaded a new version of the program, the first one in a few months.
The main "new" feature is that it brings back the CardData.xml exchange functionality. CardData.xml files are the files which are used to provide the pop-up notes when you hover over cards. In the old Tarot Zone there used to be a way of browsing them on line and uploading/downloading them. When I reorganised the program back in January I left this out, reasoning that since you can exchange decks, and the card data always goes with the deck, there was no need to do this separately. I was never really happy with this though because obviously it is much easier to exchange a simple text file, which takes only seconds, than go to the trouble of downloading a whole deck on the off-chance that it contains the pop-ups you are looking for.
What is different this time though is that the exchange is all through the program, in the same way that spreads are exchanged in version 8.6. You can get the CardData.xml form up by choosing the Popup Notes item on the menu. You will find it there under "Toggle Mode" and "Edit Notes". I also improved the functionality of the spread exchange at the same time, adding delete buttons so users can delete any of the spreads and card data files that they uploaded themselves.
Because you can now do everything through the program itself that you used to be able to do in the old "OTZ" pages, the web browser has now been removed from the program altogether. If you follow the menu items to go to the Home page or the Forum Home page you will find that it opens the page in question in your default browser of choice.
