Problem with Deck Exchange

Hi!

Okay, I just updated the program with the new version 8.4 both on my PC and my Laptop.

The deck exchange works perfectly on the PC. I'm able to download and share decks without any problems. Where I'm having trouble is on the laptop and I don't understand what the problem could be.

I can see and download other user's decks just fine, but when I try to click on the button that let's me organise what decks I want to share with others I get the following error message:



If I click "continue", nothing happens. If I click "quit", it causes Orphalese to close.

I have no idea what's causing this. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the update twice and the same thing happens.

If anyone could help me out with this, I would really apreciate it. Thanks in advance!

Hi Mary,

My guess is that the difference is between the decks you have installed in the two places. Maybe one of the decks on the laptop is giving a problem that the other collection doesn't. Perhaps the decks you added there were with an older version of the program. With this in mind I have made some changes that should avoid the problem. The program checks more carefully before making assumptions about what data the shared decks might contain. I just uploaded this small revision 8.4.1.2, maybe you can give it a try when you get a chance and see if it fixes the problem.
