Hi Aurora,

Sorry to hear you are still having problems. The forum database and the program database are quite separate, so if there is any connection between the two problems it could only have something to do with your computer. Is it a laptop or a desk computer you are trying to register on? It might have something to do with the number keys. For example, if it is the desktop machine you could try using the numerical keypad instead of the numbers at the top of the keyboard, or vice versa, to see if that makes any difference.

Anyway, first things first, what message do you receive when you try to register?

You have my email address, so please feel free to email me at home if you like.

Richard

I'm also having a problem with the log-in, but not on the program itself. I can't log into the tarot zone. It was working just fine before I downloaded the latest beta, which I really don't think has anything to do with it, because I can't log in when I go to the website outside of the program either. I'm assuming that my not logging in is the reason why I'm not allowed to download spreads or data and such. So, what do I do now?

Hi Seamonster, I was able to login from the internet, but not from within the program. This might also have to do with the server issue, as the spreads would be on the server. If it still doesn't work once we know the deck exchange is back, or if Richard has another possibility, in any case it's not just you. (H)

I'm not sure what spread you wanted, but maybe you could post for it?

Shari

Sorry I overlooked this post, Seamonster.

The problem is that some people who have downloaded the beta are in a catch .22 situation because of an oversight of mine. I had thought to phase the OTZ out by bringing all its functionality into the program itself, or making it available, without logging in, on the website. So the beta doesn't automatically log you into the OTZ any more.

You can get into the OTZ via the web login, but only if you had previously set up a password (you would have to have done this manually when you had access, hence the catch .22 because now you can't get in to set one up.

In fact though I have rethought this, and I am going to keep the OTZ going as well, so the next version of the beta will let you log into it again - all being well that should be out by the weekend after next at the latest.

Cheers,
Richard

I'm glad to learn it wasn't me...I was beginning to wonder if I'd just lost my mind and forgotten the password completely. :$ So, then, I will wait until the new beta is up and update it then. Thank you!
