Need to find Decks

Nice program. Paid for it and got a user licence email on 12/27/2011. Can't open the email because I haven't got Outlook Express anymore and don't know what's in it.

I hadn't used the program for awhile when I clicked on an email virus and my Windows XP computer died almost instantly.

Fast forward -- got new System7 computer, installed Orphalese.

I open it and there is the Postmark Lenormand. Can't use any of the other half dozen packs I got about a year ago from other Orphalese users. Don't know what to do to enable them. I have reinstalled it a couple x but have been unsuccessful at figuring out how the Postmark is the default deck or how to access the other decks. Arrrgggg... Image

I just answered a similar query to this one that came to me by email, not sure if it was you convering all bases but I will repeat what are the two probable answers in these cases:

Case 1: You don't see all the decks you expect to in My Decks. You just see the Le Normand (or any other deck) and that is all. You should try looking to see where the program actually looks for decks (by going into the Options window). Perhaps you are putting your decks in one place and the program is looking for them somewhere else. Newer versions look for decks and other files under My Documents/Orphalese/Packs whereas the original program (pre 2008 or thereabouts) used to look for them under Program Files/Orphalese/Packs. This change was to make the program compatible with Windows Vista.

Case 2: You see all the decks you expect to, but only the first three are enabled. This is because you are using a previous version of the program which had the restriction of three decks for people who had not registered the program, and for some reason the program thinks that you are not registered, maybe because you upgraded to a more recent version but forgot your unlock code etc. At the present time the Orphalese Tarot is completely free software with none of these restrictions on the number of decks. You should see the post "Orphalese Tarot is Now Free" in this forum for more information about this (it is the topic that appears top of the list when you first go into the Forum). Download any version of the program from the website to avoid having this restriction on the number of decks you can use.
