I have updated to the new download. I run XP 2000 pro. But I can't get any card notes to show. If I click edit I see them on there, but not when I mouse over a card when its laid out. Even toggleing won't help this issue.
NOW..this happen before I updated, too.
Did I not wiggle the right button? Did I not shake my head three times the right way? Did I not blow my nose in the properly blessed tissue to make it show the card notes?
OH MY! LOL!
Anyone? Anything?
Thanks in advance!!!!

Question on Card Notes
Hi Barb,
Well, there is wiggling and wiggling, let's see...Is this happening with every deck that has notes, or just some decks? And do you have the program set to show General Notes, or to show Personal Notes?
(And are you sure the tissue was properly blessed??)

Question on Card Notes
Oh Richard hello and OMG, how are you! .0)
You know, I'm thinking I may have to reinstall OPT all over again!
That silly thing won't let me keep my setting on General Notes AND it won't always show the card notes after I do reset it! Its getting testy with me! I just know it! I think it made a face at me when I bent over to pick up my pencil.
Now, I don't even have a tiny little minus sign to minumise my reading so I can get into another program! I have to close out my program! I must multitask! OMG!
I just knew that tissue was a generic brand! Oh wail! Oh sob!
:0)
I shall keep trying, My King!
PS...I even waved a properly cleansed hiney in front of the moniter to help in the cleansing process. But my husband kept screaming at me to let him go get dressed.
Hey..I had to try!

Question on Card Notes
Hi Barb,
You say it won't always show the card notes, so that means it does show them some of the time right?
When you say the program won't remember your preference for General Notes, let me just make sure you know how the feature should work (it changed slightly a few versions back):
You press F8 to toggle, and choose General or Personal by either clicking on the option you want, or pressing F8 again, or pressing Enter. Suppose for the sake of argument you choose Personal. The next time you hit F8 the toggle window will appear with General selected. It always shows the opposite of your current selection. This is to make it easier to switch, i.e. two key strokes (F8 then F8, or F8 then enter) as opposed to three (F8 then Up or Down, then F8 or Enter). Maybe you are seeing that the default option is the one that ISN'T currently selected and assuming that the program is doing the opposite of what it is told?
I am scratching my head but that is the only thing that occurs to me now.

Question on Card Notes
Hi again.
Naw, she was doing the oppisite of what I had told her to do. I click personal and she would only open general. Then on top of that my card notes wouldn't show!
But that was yesterday! This morning she is fine and smiling! I have noticed a couple of spreads gone after updating the program, maybe she was just ticked off? Who knows?
But its fine now.
Sorry to make you scratch your head!!!
HUGS! Barb
