I had to chuckle when I pulled the first card. I immediately got pictures (as I looked at it), in my mind of my mother and I having discussions on when to be home and it's my turn to do the dishes, etc. The cards I pulled are

1. 7 of Wands
2. The Lovers
3. The World
Now I like to pull the base card (bottom) a lot and I did with this reading.
Base card 10 of Pentacles.

Where am I mentally-7 of Wands. As I said I started to laugh looking at this card. Although I do not know how old your daughter is, her age does not apply here, it is just an age old thing of Mothers and daughters will either be their best friends or they will be in a constant battle of wills. I think yours is a combination of both. You are your daughter's good friend besides being her Mom, but you and she constantly have discussions, which on occasion lead to almost a competition. You is more right you or your daughter. Who has more say on what to do you or your daughter. I can hear my mother saying to me in the back of my mind, As long as you are living under my roof, you will do what I say. The soldier in the card is on top of a wall with 6 other wands below him. He is holding his wand in a posture of ready to do battle. But it is not a real battle, it is just a battle of wills. There are several issues that you and your daughter do not agree on. You feel that because of your life experience you know the right way and are prepared to do verbal battle to prove your point. Your daughter on the other hand, wants to try her way. Actually, she has several ways, 6 to be exact. But I think it has become a very long and weary battle for you both and you are mentally tired. Enough already!!

Where am I physically? The Lovers. I have to admit, I am not sure where this card fit in at first, but I thought about it and indeed it does. Having the constant verbal sparring is indeed physically as well as mentally debilitating. But the lovers is also about choice. Whether to give in to the physical need of love, or the spiritual pure love. There is no doubt in my mind that you both love each other. I know at times it seems that neither one of you think so. But the love is truly there. The spiritual love of a mother for her child is very strong. It is stronger sometimes than that of a love between a man and a woman. For she is a part of you, a physical part of you. She I think feels the same way. The question is, whether she wants to acknowledge that love. She wants so much to be an independent woman, ( I would laugh if your daughter is like 7 years old lol). But I think she still deep in her heart still likes to be Mommies girl.


Where am I spiritually? The World. What a great card. New beginnings. New thoughts and ideas, new passion. The naked woman is dancing in anticipation as she goes through a gateway of the laurel wreath. She looks back and raises her hands triumphantly holding two short wands in each hand. Ideas and thoughts that give rise to new passions. It is a card of completion and a card of beginnings. Even though you have your discussions and feel you know what's best, you also know it is time to let her fly solo. This card is signifying the ending of being a little girl and the beginning of being a confident woman in the world. But we know that they never really go and they never really leave. Where there is love there is home.

Base card-10 of Pentacles- what's this reading all about?? Love. Love of life, laughter, living. Love of family, loyalty, prosperity. Aurora, you have a great daughter. She will not forget the valuable lessons she has learned from you.

See that tree as a part of your on-going growth.

Close your eyes and picture what is under the tree. See how the roots feed the entire tree from top to bottom? See how the dirt & rocks around it allows the tree to stand firmly?

Thank you very much for this reading! I have very recently begun a slightly different path in my spiritual work and it does feel much lighter with hopes of freedom, with focus on the mental level. And it's true I need the encouragement to revel in the lightness. I am known to take myself, and especially my spiritual self, way too seriously :)

Card 3: Sprirtually--9 of Swords

It's a good thing that you are experiencing such harmony on the physical level because you are doing a lot of intense work on the mental and spiritual levels! Physically, you are revelling in this early summer. You are bursting with energy. Your body, right now, is a true temple, a shroud of holiness for the work that must be done on the mental and spiritual planes.
Mentally, again, you are bursting with energy and that burst is creating quite a collapse. Your mind may feel that it is coming unglued, but you are awakening to an inner truth and you know what this truth is. It is quietly shining in the midst of the hundreds of voices chattering inside your head.

Where am I spread done for Cowhead in period 23-30 june 2006
For the spread I have used Orphalese, and this is the first deal, nothing is pre made.
The cards are timeless truth and I have used authors notes to build my reading.
Due to lack in English language...notes have to be simple.
I am still very new to Tarot, so I have none force in it, but when I saw your cards I smiled and start to believe more and more in their power:)
For your Mentally power you get the : Ace of Wand
For your Physic power you get the . King of wands
and for your spiritually proficiency : Ten of Pentacle
Now let us just hope that I can read them right, but we can assume you are fire person that like a bit of action, something your present in the reading group also confirm:)


1. Where am I mentally? Ace of Wand
The way I understand the cards, so are you a strong mental person.
You have a very creative mind, your imagination is on top (the way you tell about different cards for Baroli tells me that)
Your expression of your thoughts are great..(the whole reading)
You are creative in the way you put the reading together,you inspiring me to be better in Tarot. yea you are the ace of wand.
But being strong in mind will not say that you will fly through life without any downfalls.
It tells more that you have the means to live true it, and come back stronger, even if life gives you a setback or two.
The funny thing is...you never learn much new in life, if it just pass by, but a setback can learn you a lot, if you are strong enough to evaluate it.
Maybe that's why the card also is seen as the new beginning, so if you haven't been on your peek lately, now is a fin time to start:)
So it must be up to you to use all those positive attributes the best way, and maybe create something new .or take up old abilities with new approaches.
The card tells that you have all the mental power for it, if you want too.

Where am I physically? King of Wand
Well what shall I say, both cards tells us almost the same and I agree!
Why do I agree? Because a person who has mentally the abilities shown by Ace of Wand never will allow itself to decay.
A person with strong mental health will always try to keep body and soul in shape, this because our mental state is our main engine, and if it allow decay off its physic it allows decay of itself.
On the other hand, if you have had a mental setback this will many time give negative impulses to your physical health, and if so, this is a good time to start to repair.
The card tells about a mature person who have great energies, are powerful and courageous (what did I say...Ace of wand:))so there should be no excuses.

From 3 cards spread have you got 2 wands, this enforce the reading and tells about enterprise and growth so don't hold back.:)

Spiritually proficiency: Ten of Pentacles.
The way I understand spiritually proficiency is our journey towards our Higher self,
This is the opposite of our ego and if we shall try to understand the meaning of life, this must be the goal.
There are many people of all ages who ask them self this question, Who am I, and Why am I here.
This are questions that is very hard to find exact answer to, but working toward your higher self will give more understanding and love, for yourself and other.
Now...back to the reading:)
One of the main attributes for high Spiritually proficiency: is a strong mental health.
Why? Because in order to downgrade your ego you have to be strong in your mind, since your ego will fight you all the way.
With Ace of Wand we have found that you have this ability
Next.. In order to have Spiritually proficiency one have to believe in it, from your reading for Baroli one can see you are far ahead.

Thank you for this reading. There is so much good material here for me to think about. You may be new to Tarot, but it doesn't seem that way. I like the way you relate the cards to one another, and how you always intepret them in the context of their positions -- those are things that beginners usually do *not* do, because those are things you can't read directly from the booklets. I think it shows that you are not just memorizing, you are really thinking these things through, and that is an excellent sign!

I appreciate your comments about suppressing the ego, and how the ego can be such an obstacle. But then you keep saying such nice things about me and my previous reading for Baroli! Which side are you on? Honestly, I'm just a fool who reads cards!
