Found Enochian Tarot so nice that I have started to put in cardnotes.
I only manage those given in the booklet. If anyone will make a bigger project please say so:)

Okay, I'll do my part and do the .xml for the World Spirit. Is there anyone besides Richard who can rename the deck though? It's called Word Spirit in the listings.

Hi Richard,
Excellent news about the new forum section. It will definitely help the coordination process of carddata.xml files.
You talked briefly about creating administrator roles for people to help you out. I was just wondering, as an administrator, do you have access to add to those zip files? I'm trying to ascertain whether it's possible to also pop the carddata.xml uploaded files into the individual zip folders. Does that mean that we'd need to download the deck, add the carddata.xml file and upload it all again? Is this going to be a job that an administrator could do?
Thanks,
purple_scorp

Hi Scorp,
Unfortunately neither the administrators or myself will be able to simply add the card data files into the zip files. The server is in remotely hosted by my ISP and is shared by other websites, so I don't have access to it in a regular way. I am limited to what one can do with FTP commands, i.e. rename files, delete them etc, but I can't execute programs on it.
Until I design a web interface for the adminstrators all that can be done is to get the notes ready. In the course of the next few weeks I hope to create such an interface which will allow the administrators (provisionally you and WebWeaver if that is OK?) to go in and Delete, Rename and Reupload decks. So the answer to the second part of the question is that this is something that yes, an administrator can do and in fact only an administrator will be able to do.
Going on from this it makes sense to combine these roles to some extent, because it might be necessary to fix a deck for more than one reason. For example some of the decks on the server have been uploaded with cards scanned in horizontally. The cards in question need to be rotated using a graphics program and the deck reuploaded. So if the LWB needed fixing at the same time it would make sense to do these things together.
Another thing occurred to me re this process of adding in the notes. We need to be sensitive to what language the original LWB notes were in. I think where possible we ought to have the notes in their original language. Obviously if we only have an English translation that would be better than nothing, but I am thinking about any cases that might come along where we had both the original and translated notes.
Cheers
Richard
I've started working on Universal Love Oracle Note

Hi all,
just thought I'd say I've started working on the Universal Love Oracle deck LWB notes.
Actually, I got this cool voice recognition software and I'm experimenting with whether it's quicker to read the LWB aloud (and have it automatically translate to rtf) or to scan them........
Will let you know.
with love

Hi Richard,
re multi-language card notes, hmm, we might have to start a new naming convention.....carddataEN.xml etc.
Which reminds me, I sent you a sample animated movie of doing a spread layout then creating reading notes but it just occurred to me that the language I used for the captions was English. Something to keep in mind if you think it's an idea worth pursuing.
Wow, I'm honoured to be considered for an administrator position here.

Once you get the administrator's access sorted, can you have a look at that LAN proxy OTZ issue (so I can download, fix, then re-upload those decks at work (beats the old dial-up connection at home

Hi Scorp
Thanks for sending the file, I don't seem to have received it though. Could you send it again to
answers@orphalese.net. I have a bigger mailbox limit there than on my other addresses, maybe that was the problem.
Re the captions being in English, that is no problem. I am sure people will get the idea. A couple of months ago I started subscribing to something called sitepal (
www.sitepal.com) - it lets you put talking animated characters on your website. It is really cool! I figure I will have an animated character giving a talk through of each movie!
Cheers
Richard
