I downloaded it again, uninstalled the 7.4 and re-installed 7.4, and now the articles show up. I did notice that this download had instructions and the first 7.4 I downloaded did not. Anyway, articles show up now. Thanks

Re: Never Mind...
Hi Jenny,
Thanks for letting me know, I am glad they are showing up now.
The data that is used to build the articles menu comes from a different source that the rest of the items in the navigation tree, which are relatively static. For the rest of the items, when I want to make any changes I have to upload an edited menu file (in fact, one for each of the languages that the program supports). On the other hand the Articles menu is now 100 dynamic. Any user can write an article and see it show up in real time. The data for the articles menu comes directly from the website's SQL database. It follows that it is quite possible for the rest of the menu to appear, but for the Articles folder to remain empty - something that might happen if the database server were unavailable, or if the user had trouble connecting to the database because of a firewall setting or other network issue (the connection uses XML webservices - the same technology as the registration procedure, which itself sometimes causes problems for the same sort of reasons).
Anyway, it will be interesting to see whether the articles only show up intermittently for you, or if the original problem was just a hiccup.
Cheers
Richard
