Hi Angelique, you don't have to pay extra to reinstall the software. You have to pay extra to use it on more then a single computer. Maria wants to use it on both her laptop AND her desktop. Originally the software license included this, however per discussion in the forum, people were asking for a lower price and just a single install. So Richard being the wonderful programmer he is, gave the people what they wanted; the opportunity to purchase a single user registration. You can reinstall the program as many times as necessary for no additional cost, however at each install the previous install becomes invalid unless you purchase a multiple install.angelique wrote:I'm thinking if you purchase a single license to use the software, you ought to be able to re-install that same software on a single computer without having to pay extra or have your software crippled. But that's just me... and all the other software I've bought from other vendors. Why is this different that you are required to pay extra to reinstall it? I don't think that's right.
Single installation: You purchase your copy of single user license, and install it on your desktop, you buy a laptop, and decide you want it on there. You install it on your laptop, and the installation on the desktop becomes invalid. You can use it on the Laptop (the last place you installed it), but not on the desktop (the 1st place you installed it).
