Is this possible and if so, how does one do it?
Thanks.

You have to click the spread first to a new window.

Re: Downloading spreads
How do I see beyond the first 100 spreads in the spreads list? I don't see anything like a next page button anywhere.
Thanx!

Re: Downloading spreads
Hi Gisela,
It sounds like you might be looking at the web page rather than looking at the spreads from within the program itself. Within the program you need to go to My Spreads >> Upload or Download a Spread. Then a form opens up where you can search for a spread by its name or the number of cards it contains. After that you can select a spread and open the new window which Peter mentioned.
Cheers,
Richard

Re: Downloading spreads
Hi Richard,
I'm looking within the program. From the main menu, I hit "My Spreads" and then the "Upload or Download a Spread" choice, an unpopulated box opens up and I tap the Search button. This provides a list with a yellow stripe at the top proclaiming "Showing first 100 results" beginning with a spread called 02-Niche, and I can scroll down to the last spread on the list, "DE-das kleine Kreuz" (Is that German?).
I suspect that the alphabetical listing of spreads doesn't really stop with the Ds.
So how do I go forward to the next batch of 100 spreads, etc? What I want is to browse through everything, not just subgroups of spreads I already know the names of or how many cards they use.
Hugs
Gisela

Re: Downloading spreads
Hi Gisela,
The search possibilities aren't too great, I agree they could be improved. You have to put in something to search on. If you search on "B" for example you will get all the B's plus anything that contains a B.
To get the rest of the information about the spread, i.e. the card positions and notes you need to select it and then press "Show Selected". That is when a new screen appears that also lets you save the spread to your My Spreads list.
Cheers

Re: Downloading spreads
Hi Richard,
Okay, now I get it. Using your suggestion of putting in a single letter to get all the Bs, for example, it still didn't quite do the job I wanted, but I got 85 result items, many of which were different than I got before, and from later parts of the alphabet. Then I entered E (the most commonly occurring letter in English) and the list still ended in the Ds, not even getting to the spreads beginning with E at all.
So.... the problem really isn't the search feature at all, it's the limit of returning a maximum of 100 results to any query. Is it possible to remove this limit, or greatly increase it to some more appropriately large finite number, such as say, 1,000? If so, I would be much happier.
Thanx again Richard for your fabulously quick and attentive responses. U da BEST!!!
