Thanks for your message of support Jenny. I know a lot of users share your point of view about the Deck Exchange, so it is a point worth making.
ZenMusic, that sounds interesting. One of the requests that has come up in this forum from time to time is that the program should have some sort of deck and file management system that would go beyond what the program offers. The suggestion was really for some kind of database that could hold a lot more information about decks than is current held in the xml files, but at the same time let you browse deck images etc. I always thought that this would work better as a separate application. If you wanted to develop something like that it would be something very cool to offer to users as a separate download. If it was programmed in a .NET language we could get it to synchronise with the program where necessary.
Maybe there are some other ideas for plug-isn or add-ons that users would find useful?

Throwing my two cents in here.
I've been out of work (by choice since the start of February) and my last job in Global Marketing for one of the worlds Top 10 brands. I was the Designer/Brand Geek in the Online Marketing team.
I'm not a code monkey anymore more, design and strategy interests me now but it goes without saying if I can be of service feel free to drop me an offline message.
I suspect :) I may be a little rusty but I'd be happy to help in any way I can.

Hi Wubble,
It is very nice to have people offering to help in various ways. Actually I was really only trying to ask people for their forebearance with regard to the reduced level of email support and wanting to make everything go through the forum. That said, some excellent ideas have been brought up which are sure to take off some of the pressure in the long run. For example I am working with Van (WillowsHeart) on the possibility of moving this forum to a server running proper forum software. This will be great because it will make the forum faster and easier to use. A deck database program would no doubt be very popular if someone wants to take up that challenge - I think ZenMusic is mulling it over. There was also the idea of shifting to a Wiki to eventually replace the help file. It is another project which will take time to get organised but then save a lot of time in the long run. I am looking at this forum issue first, and the necessary rewrites on the website etc to get the registration process back up and running, but after that I will look at the Wiki. If you or anyone else wants to do a bit of preliminary research on what a wiki would involve that would be great
Cheers

too busy this week to think about it, traveling, I'm a database specialist (in programming and design) so that suggestion would be very easy for me to pursue.. I'll have more time next week to think about it..
