Re: Sharing Decks
Hi, Marvin:
That Dilbert Tarto sounds fun, just collecting purposes. Can you upload it or just send it to me? I can offer another deck in exchange, but I'm afraid my list is too huge to put in there. Let me know if you want to get it. Best.

Re: Re: Sharing Decks
Hi,
I'm also trying to collect all of the peanuts deck. And yes as soon as richard and I can figure out how I can upload, I'll send it to you!
If you do want to send me a partial list, my artistic tastes are very broad wher tarot is concerned. (As long as my wife approves, and my kids class doesn't see them!)
I have a number of ideas for decks, but my physical artistic ability is very limited these days, (martial arts instructor, carpal tunnel in both hands, what is time with a calss of 30 kids,50 adults?) How good are you with depicting armor?
Later,
Marvin

Re: Re: Re: Sharing Decks
Armor, you said? Middle-Ages ones? If so, I have somewhere a Dover Publishing book that will drive you crazy, suitable for scanning and design a deck (Hum, I'm envisioning a Tarot of The Armoured Knights). But it must wait, there's two other projects in queue, plus re-arranging my collection (220 and growing!). I got the Peanuts already, and I'm not sure if your wife would approve most part of my erotic-themed decks. Best.

Hi Guy,
Not quite. Try elvin, and realistic, not fantasy.
And yes, I can wait. I have some time off work.
Later,
Marvin
Ps. Could you upload the Penuts Tarot? And your right about my wife, she doesn't like the Celtic Tarot by Lo Scarabeo (the bog dresses). Thats probably why I've never taken her to a medieval event (wenches!) or a biker event!
Oh well,
Marvin

Re: Sharing Decks
Hi Marvin.
I would love to have a copy of the Cary-Yale deck.
I'm also looking for a copy of the Crowley Thoth deck that's better than the one I have. I got mine from the Russian site, and it's obviously a mix of different decks.
Thanks.

Re: Re: Sharing Decks
Hi,
Please don't take this personally: are you a guy or a lady?
(I need to know how to address you!)
No problem about the Thoth deck. I actually got it as part of another software package. All I have to do is convert it. It should be up in 2-3 days (my diabetes willing).

Hi Marvin.
>> are you a guy or a lady? Being confined to having only one sex is a bit of a drag, but the physical evidence will show that I am, in scientific terms, a guy. As for addressing me, Your Supreme Niftyness will do...
Kidding aside, there's *no* need to rush on the Thoth deck. Truly sorry to hear about the diabetes.
Take care!

Re: Re: Re: Re: Sharing Decks
Yikes, I just re-read this. I hope this didn't offend...
Thing is, I *had* a couple of clues in there to show I was kidding, kinda like smiley faces, but they got stripped out.
Here's how it originally looked (almost):
Ah, people have been asking me that for years, even the ones who know me. Being confined to having only one sex is a bit of a drag, but the physical evidence will show that I am, in scientific terms, a guy. {grin} As for addressing me, Your Supreme Niftyness will do... {double grin}
(Now, in your mind, change each } to a > and each { to a <...)
I'm really not *quite* that arrogant, I hope!

Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Sharing Decks
Kinda reminds me of the old story about filling out a job application. In the days when political correctness wasn't an issue, there was a box labeled sex. Some people responded to that with whenever I can get it.
A more recent aside. I am a breast cancer survivor. A portion of my anatomy was lost (strange term, wonder if I'll ever find it), along with my hair, which has now grown back but I keep short out of preference - saves on shampoo. When approached by a stranger on my left, it is with sir, from my right it's ma'am. Ah well, beats the alternative.
No matter, it's what's between my ears that counts. .-)
