Trouble Navigating the OTZ

Post by Programmer »

Hi Rhutobello,

When you have this problem:

1) When you click on a page, what do you see on the OTZ? Does it always go back to the connecting... page or to an error page?

2) Can you navigate to the Contact Us page (this page is slightly different because it is on the main Orphalese website)?

By the way:

If you are switching back and forth between these two versions it will save you a lot of time to just make copies of tarot.exe. Just by switching the two versions of tarot.exe you can go back and forth.

Cheers

Good morning OTZ:)

The main page just stood the whole time and displayed connecting to OTZ,,,,

After a while I tried to use those links on the left..Home Stats and so on.
Each link prodused the site for just a split second

Only deck exchange poped up, because this is in a new browser

Yea...shal keep a backup copy of the program....have always replaced up to now.....but I have broadband so no big deal:)

Shoot that Gremlin:)

Shall try to reinstall your program from my home computer and see if the same happen.

Morning Rhutobello,

Well, I am glad it is working again now...can't think what might have caused it though. Let me know if it happens again (I am sure you will!).

Cheers

By the way Rhutobello, can you confirm that the fix of the navigation problem did the trick on both your home and work computers?

Well....here is a good prove that diffrent pc might behave diffrent on the same program, and we can see some of the problems a programmer have to struggle with.

I got problems on my work pc, not able to connect OTZ at all, and made a lot of fuzz in Forum about it.

Later when I arrived home, I installed the same version on my home pc and all function as usal, and I said so in the forum.

Next day on work I installed the same version agein on this PC, strange...no way to connect OTZ, even if those 2 PC are almost indetical, both have broadband from same ISP.

Well, then you made a fix and now I have no problems on any.....so here is all sunny and working nice:)

Cheers!
