Thank you for the card notes Whipsilk! This is a lovely deck, and I, too, recommend purchasing the book. Not only were fairy tales used to instill moral values, they (and Nursery Rhymes) were often used to comment on social issues at a time when taking a public stand was harmful to you health and well-being. For those who are interested in historical social mores, the book alone is well worth the purchase!
