Here is the low-down on the new beta:
Screen Capture/Email form:
FIXED: Now correctly includes the message part of the email as well as the graphic.
FIXED: Overlaying cards are displayed in the right sequence again.
ADDED: The Options form lets you indicate if your SMTP server requires authentication, and if so specify a password.
Compare Cards form:
FIXED: All the selected cards now show, with no wasted space at the bottom.
Spreads in FSM:
In Free Selection Mode, when a spread is chosen from the My Spreads menu, cards are not automatically dealt. Instead a graphic appears showing where the cards will appear, and the user can select, one by one, which card will go in which position.
Have fun playing with it...

Re: Version 7.1 Beta
You did it:)
Now even an old grandpa can record a spread with ease...thx a lot:)
Will look for errors, but if I know you right, it will be the same as looking for the famous needle:)

Re: Re: Version 7.1 Beta
Played around and all looks nice.
In my frustration to find some fault I did an expriment.
For a single deck I put in the option for 13 reversal.
Then I went true 78 card and got 21 reverse
Collected with autoshuffle...+ 2 times shuffle
Then 78 card and got 33 reverse
collect autoshuffle + 2 shuffle
then 78 card and got 41 reverse
Can you try it out:)

Re: Version 7.1 Beta
Hi Richard,
thanks for the new version and many thanks for the fixed card sorting. I often use this feature in connection with the 78 card spread to get a general overview of a deck. And yes, I love the new feature of spreads in the FSM. It's great!
But when I look at the Tarot Zone I get the feeling that we have to do some translation work in the 'My OTZ' once again. Just send me the files.

Re: Re: Re: Version 7.1 Beta
Hi Rhutobello,
What you are describing sounds roughly correct. Remember that the effect of shuffling is cumulative. For example, if you have 10 reversals then you will get about 8 reversed cards on a standard tarot deck (it may be 12, it may be 4, but over a series of goes it will average out to 8). Then if you do another shuffle you will probably find about 14 reversed cards - ie the original eight which are still reversed, less perhaps one or two of those that might have gone back to upright (double reversals) and maybe 6 or so new ones. It is a bit like diffusion of molecules across a barrier - eventually they all arrange themselves evenly, the percentage of reversals is like the diffusion gradient. After a hundred shuffles at 10 the pack would probably be 50-50 reversed.
Cheers
Richard

Hi Katrin,
I am really glad you like it! You are right about the Tarot Zone. I am about to do quite a few changes to the OTZ, so it probably makes sense to let the translations accumulate a bit more before sending out the files again, in order to avoid too many emails going back and forth (I always lose track of them!).
Cheers
