Feature request

Post by Katrin_srose »

Hi Richard,

just a short question: Might it be possible to create a short cut for launching an extra deck? That would be really great!

Thanks!

Hi Katrin!

I am only fixing bugs at the moment rather than adding anything new (it takes a great effort of will!) but I have made a note of your request.

When I introduced that feature I wasn't sure how popular it would prove to be. I know Aurora uses it and now I know that you do too! Actually, it is not yet 100 integrated with the rest of the program. For example, if you do a reading with two decks it is possible to save the reading, and when it is laid out the cards from both decks will be correctly dealt. On the other hand, as far as spreads are concerned, it is only possible to create a spread for one deck at present, as you know - using a second or third deck will have to wait for a future version.

Still, the shortcut sounds like a good idea - maybe Control-Alt-Plus or something similar.

Cheers
Richard

I've been thinking about this, and I can use two deck, and separate my spread based on what I want drawn from what deck. Are you talking about being able to randomly drawn cards from multiple open decks? Even if that is what your talking about, merging two decks make that possible. Maybe I'm missing something here. Or you want to do it without having to merge the two decks thereby creating a third deck?

This post just happen to pop out at me and I was thinking it does that already, so thought I'd ask.

Hi Shari,

No, I just meant that you can't go into the spread wizard and create a spread that will require two decks. Even though the program lets you use two decks, the spread wizard doesn't.
