New Official Orphalese Help Website!!
As of April 2016 we are lucky enough to have a dedicated Help website, designed and maintained by Linda (better known on these forums as purple_scorp), who has always been a great contributor to the Orphalese Tarot project. You can find it at www.orphalesehelp.com. Linda has brought all the information in the existing help file up to date and also organized it in a way which is much more helpful and readable. For the moment the orphalesehelp.com website does not have its own forum, so this will be the place to leave any feedback or resolve any queries that can't be answered in those pages.

Linda! What a great job. I know how much time it must have taken to get your site to where it is. <3

Re: New Official Orphalese Help Website!!
A big thankyou to Purple Scorp for the Help Website.
I've only spent a short while on it (without a specific problem in mind) and found one brilliant idea! "Load on Demand" for Decks to allow Orphalese to Load and work quicker. Brilliant!
A while ago I had some nasty unpredictable errors from just having too many Decks. It seems that the Windows registry can't cope with the number I had (700) if you're still using 32 bit Windows.
I reduced the number below the recomended 400 and havn't had problems since, but I may try to put back some of those less used Decks, but as "Load on Demand" only...
I'll report my findings!
Meanwhile I think I might skim through the whole thing to see what other marvels I might find...

Thanks Shari and Greg. I had a lot of fun writing it.
Hey Greg, glad you liked the Load on Demand folder idea.
I learnt something new to me the other day too (apparently it's been in the program for a while - just never knew it).
So, I knew that clicking on any Face-up Card on the Desktop turns the Card over, but I didn't know that you could return a Face-down Card back to the deck by dragging and dropping it over the Deck.
Did you know that one? I haven't yet put it on the help website.

Okay, well, you know what they say, why waste your time reading the book when you can just watch the movie??? (Yeah I know, there are plenty who say the book is always better than the movie too!)Greg the Yeti wrote:

Anyway, I've created a purple_scorp YouTube channel for animated tutorials (short movies) on some Orphalese features. I've put links to these movies on the Orphalese Help Website Tutorial page and am filtering them through to the Orphalese Facebook page too. I'm working my way down a list. Greg, if you can think of anything burning that you want to see soon, let me know and I'll re-prioritise it on my list.
I should also add that the Help Website was written for Version 9.4, I'm making my way through the pages updating with screenshots and text for 10.
Later.....
