At moment as I said both orphalese and deckservice have full admin priviledge and firewall permissions. In explorer both are covered with a shield, but not the orphalese icon on the desktop. I have given deckservice.exe admin rights and permission to connect in the firewall. Tried again and this time the 'do test' for connectivity was successful, reporting that others can now see my shared files. Still no other users shown on line to share, perhaps there is no one else on line to share ...

Of course while the *.jpg files were copied by Xnview the *.xml files were not, could the xml files have coursed the problem?

Well I double checked Vista firewall setting and orphalese is checked as an allowed program. There is an option on the orphalese 'shared files' screen to check that the files you allow to share are available to others, I tried that and connection failed, so the file sharing part seems to be blocked....

OK - I created a LiberT folder in pictures directory. Using Xnview I selected all the the .jpgs from LiberT in orphalese packs directory and copied to LiberT in pictures. I deleted the folder in orphalese packs. I then copied the LiberT folder in pictures directory and pasted it into orphalese packs...

According to explorer there are 0 files and size is 0.
Vista should be showing them but something isn't working properly I think:(

Ok.... in Vista Start>Control Panel> Click on Appearance and Personalization, click on Show Hidden Files or Folder, select Show hidden files and folders. Remove the checkmark from Hide extensions for know file types. Done. The access the folder and do the F2 copy and paste the file name in here. C:P...

Well don't know whether I need to figure something out, if the program isn't working or whether their has just never been anyone online when I have tried file sharing because it always just shows an empty screen, click on the arrows but no one there:(

My operating system is windows vista.
Path is:
C:Program FilesOrphaleseOrphalese TarotPacksLiberT
Under mycomputer and orphalese show folder as empty.
the *.jpg's however are displayed using gimp or easy thumbnails???
