Re: Transparency has Disadvantages
Thanks for your reply Mr Programmer Man. :D It's always worth asking other people... You could probably tell from my tone that I wasn't that hopeful of a solution. :( What you said about .NET - if that's true, then probably only a Microsoft Programmer could fix it - and that's not likely :'( Luckily...

Transparency has Disadvantages
Hi to all. Happy Mystic Season, Solstice and Conjunction - and stay Healthy! I've used Transparency a lot however I've just discovered a serious disadvantage with using it. :'( For the first time I used two decks of the same cards, one using Transparency to eliminate the Border, the other not. On fl...

Re: EXTREME Sized Decks
Hi Richard, thanks for your reply. Well I've done that "Trial MASSIVE Deck" and the answer is Yes and No - and Yes and No - and Yes and No..... ^o) The Deck loaded OK. Orphalese counts the cards correctly and you can deal cards from the deck all no problem. It seems to shuffle OK, although...

Re: EXTREME Sized Decks
Hi again! Nobody had replied yet. Perhaps nobody knows??? *-) I was thinking in the meantime, and being no stranger to very large Decks (my existing "Yarrow Stalk Odds" Decks for the I ching, come in three sizes of 279, 469 and 748 - in increasing accuracy of modelling the genuine "Ya...

EXTREME Sized Decks
Hi, after a long absence due to cancer, I seem to be getting better and am back working on Decks. <:o) I had left unfinished two projects, 1) "The Book of Fate" based on the original source materials "Discovered" by Napoleon in Egypt. It's in an advanced stage of development and ...

Updating a Shared Deck
Hi, I recently needed to update a Deck that I had shared. Currently the only ways to do this are:- 1) Share under a new name showing the changes 2) "Un-Share" the Deck, thereby Deleting the Shared Deck from the Server and then Re-Sharing the Update. This allows a note about the upgrade too...

Re: Cant Upload Deck with Notes nor Upload the Notes seprrately
Hi The fault as noted above is still the case - I checked, trying to upload the Deck with Notes AND trying to upload just the Notes. An important note:- The Card notes in this Deck were prepared using JUST the Orphalese "Card Notes Editor". I used no fancy "Creating the Notes in Excel...

Re: Trans[arency - again!
Hi once more, Original "faulty" Deck now taken down and replaced with "Wonderful - All Singing All Dancing" replacement. (H) I've shared it still with Transparency enabled, so you can see the nice effect. I've shared it with those alternate named cards for 19.png and 55.png As sh...

Re: Trans[arency - again!
Hi once more! Research and editing of files done, here are the results of the Finish Jury... The 4x4 = 16 pixel size dot works poerfectly well with a Card displayed at about half screen height (my screen size is 1280x800 on my laptop). (H) The 6x6 = 36 pixel size works with spreads that give cards a...
